Rick Stein’s BBC Visit

Chef Rick Stein meets the Houria team

Recently we had a visit from the renowned British chef, Rick Stein, for his latest BBC series: Food Stories. He met with Houria’s Founder Kim Prado, and Sisters Maria and Amel in our Easton Cafe to hear about our unique business and try some of our artisan signature dishes. Spoiler alert; he loved the Salt Cod Fishcakes!

“This series is about food stories and sometimes they really matter…this one REALLY mattered. You suddenly realise how important food and cooking can be in liberating people. For me, the dishes I’ve eaten here at Houria represent something special about the power of food to create community and a sense of belonging. Cheers to Houria!” -
